Something Different - 1

Off late have been thinking a lot about spicing up life by doing something different, something weird. Here is an attempt. I have sent a mail to some people today which looks like this:

Hi Junta,
"Howz life ?" A very common question with a different answer each day. Haven't our lives become too monotonous these days ? What was the weirdest thing that happened to you off late ? Or let me put it in a different way. When was the last time you felt you were special ? Today might be one such day :) Well....allow me to hold the suspense a little longer. Please take this mail as an invitation for a small yet unusual gathering/party on ***** evening at *********. The details are given below:

Spiderman - A love story

Yeah, thats what it is. A love story. The movie was not as promising as its promos. Infact I was disappointed with the movie altogether. Looked more like a typical bollywood flick with all the necessary ingredients. Romance, Suspense, Drama, Sacrifice, Action, Twists and Turns. The only consolation was a few action scenes which looked complicated but great. And also a few comic scenes involving the Chief of the bulletin - The Bugle.

If you cant stop yourself from watching it, at least go without any expectations or hopes and you might just like the movie !!

Rajjo's Birthday

Feeling lazy :)

Feeling lazy though I want to write many things here. I will rather enumerate the latest for today.

1. Celebrated Rajjo's (Sourabh's) birthday at his residence at midnight yesterday with Bedi, Chandu and Jagan. Enjoyed a lot decorating the terrace with balloons tied on a broken ladder and a charpoy along with Jagan and Chandu. I loved the whole setup which looked like a funky cafeteria to me.
   
2. Started practicing on the synthesizer after a long time and its only now that I realise what I was missing since so many days. Feel more relaxed throughout the day and that sense of calmness is back again which had lost since past few weeks.
3. Planning to make another sketch this weekend.
4. This month there wont be any CAT classes (yippppppppeeeeeeeeee). Only revision classes which I am planning to attend to make up for the previous bunks :D

The Murali act

We often play cricket in our house corridor in the morning and also after office. Yesterday I was trying to bowl like muralitharan and trying to emulate that same awkward action that he has. Practiced for everything, the leg spin, the off spin and the "doosra¨ too :) Most of them were wide but the ones which i got correct, Saurabh had a hard time facing them. Saurabh (my roomie) is a very good player so I assume I was bowling well :D. But in that excitement to become a Murali for the day, I got a sprain in my right arm :) and now it pains whenever I straighten my hand.

Started writing this post in the morning but was caught up in so many things that just couldn't complete it until now (6:50 pm). Still some work left but the good thing is that tonight many of us are meeting at a friends place for his birthday. Its strange that we all are batchmates from college working in the same city (different offices) and yet none of us is able to meet that often. Anyway, today is not that day :)
