I was amazed to see this shop at Pinjor Gardens (near Panchkula) where you get Ice cream pakodas and equally disappointed when the shopkeeper told me that the material had got over so there wont be any ice cream pakodas available for the day. Though I did ask him how does he make them. He takes a small cube of ice cream, marinates it in corn flour and deep fries it. I am yet not convinced that the ice cream wont melt but then he has his shop doing great business there, so must be true :)

Hi Kunal, kaisa hai ?
chalo tune bataya to mera disappointment kam ho gaya :)
I was also there in Simla trip and remember the ice-cream pakoras quiet well. I totally recommend you not to eat them for taste but for experience. Afterall who gets ice-cream pakoras everywhere. And yes, icecream does not melt, the coating does well to stop lot of heat to get inside.
it seems everyone has tasted ice cream pakodas except for me :P haan chandu u r right, must hv it for an experience if not for taste. aaja ghar pe try karte hain, watsay ? ;)
Hmm... brings old memories back. I remember eating it once in a restaurant in Tallahassee, Florida. I definitely enjoyed it!
