locked the keys to the lock

Yesterday was one of the rare days when I forgot my keys inside my room and locked it. The door has the facility of an auto lock which I generally don't use. But yesterday I didn't feel like taking my laptop to office so thought of leaving it in my room and locking the room. Just forgot the keys inside. When I came back home after office I realized what I had done :( But the best part was that I was supra cool all the time. Tried experimenting with the door knob but Saurabh had a better idea which at first seemed to me more destructive than what I was doing - trying to detach the knob of the door. Saurabh suggested that I break the back door which would require less effort and anyway its better to get the latch fixed rather than the lock on the front door. So we went to the back door and it just took 4 kicks to get the door open. Fortunately, there was no damage in the process. The latch had come out along with the screws from the wooden frame of the door so it can be fixed again with the help of a screw driver very easily. All's well that ends well :)
